Day 3 · 13:15 · 25 minutes

Today you put a real price on the page. Tomorrow, you collect.

Pick a price. Put it live on the landing page. Rehearse the ask. The strangers who show up at 14:45 will see a real priced product. The bell waits for tomorrow, 15:10.
ISB AI FoundersPRICE IT
Before you pick a number

Price is what the pain is worth. Not how hard you worked.

Remember Day 1?
Your ten-yuan filter: would a real person pay ten yuan for this pain to just disappear. That was never a warmup question. It was the first pricing test you ran.
What your interviews said
Somebody already told you how bad this pain feels: how often it happens, what they currently do about it, what that workaround costs them. That is your pricing evidence. Go find it.
"Free users lie. Paying users teach."
A yes with money attached is the only yes this whole week that cannot just be someone being nice to you.
Pick a shape for the price

Three models for a v1. Pick one.

One-time
¥X once
Like buying a snack. Simplest ask there is. Start here if you are not sure.
Per-use
¥X each time
Good when the pain only shows up sometimes, not every day.
Monthly
¥X / month
Only if the pain is daily. This is the hardest ask on the table, save it for a real habit.
The rule: pick ONE right now. You can change it Monday.

Whichever number got said out loud first just became the anchor for everyone listening after it. That is not an accident, that is how pricing works in a room. So say your number first, and say it slightly above what feels comfortable. You can always discount down from there. You can never discount up without it feeling like a trick.

The pricing prompt

My product: [thesis]. My person: [who]. Interviews said the pain is worth about [what you heard]. Propose 3 price points with a simple model each (one-time, per-use, or monthly), say which one a Chinese high school family would actually pay this week, and write the one-sentence ask I say out loud when I ask for the money.
The hardest 5 seconds of the day

One sentence. Then silence.

Say it, then stop talking
"[Product] does [win]. It's [price]. Want it?"
Then you stop talking. The silence is the hard part. Whoever talks first loses.
The graceful no: "Totally fine, can I ask what number would have worked?" That is a paying-user lesson for free.

Price it, live.

1Run the pricing prompt. Pick one model, pick one number.
2Builder puts the price on the landing page in Kimi Code and redeploys.
3Everyone at the table rehearses the ask sentence out loud, twice, silence included. Tomorrow you say it to a stranger for real.

13:40 · the pitch deck

Priced. Now pitch it.

LEAVE WITH a price on the live page and a one-sentence ask.
DECIDED who makes the first ask, tomorrow.
NEXT 13:40, the pitch deck, where this price gets its own money slide. Then 14:05, the feature blitz, freeze at 14:45, then the stranger gauntlet, 5 cold users see your real priced product. Tomorrow at 15:10, the first-dollar hunt, real people, real yuan, a bell for every yuan earned.
